Abstract

Jedová hora Hill is one of the three Czech historical deposits of cinnabarite mining. During some periods cinnabarite was mined as a second product of Ordovician iron ores mining. There is rich and various hydrothermal mineralization developed in the deposit. The deposit is a significant mineralogical locality. In the paper a summary of geology, mineralogy and mining history is given.
